Mint Cafe

I have been to this delightful cafe many times.I travel from Near Rotherham to come to an intercambio,but would not make this journey,were it not for the lovely food and warm welcome .I love the sandwiches which I personally prefer in a wrap but it comes on a baguette if you prefer .The vegetarian buffet on Mondays is really delicious with a big choice . The food is so fresh and deliveries from the fruit shop across the road come in very regularly .The fresh juices and secret Smoothies are delicious and a glass of water is provided free of charge,if you would like it with the secret Smoothie,.Love it be back soon!

The little cafe is one of the most loved places in leeds. Coffee is very good. Staff very freindly. The chef is amazing.

Lovely customer service, delicious coffee, cool & funky environment. Didn't taste the food but it smelled absolutely wonderful so will be going back to try!

I've been visiting Mint Café for five years now and it is easily one of top 5 places to eat out. Hassan, owner and chef, is such a happy man - ever smiling and polite - and a fantastic cook. Mint serves Lebanese and Moroccan cuisine. One of the best times to visit is on Monday nights when they do an open vegetarian buffet (all vegan) for under £8, for the number of dishes and the variety on offer, this is excellent value for money. Each dish is always freshly cooked at the buffet and also through the week. Mint also does a superb breakfast - including vegan add vegetarian options - and at £5.50 it is both very filling and very affordable apart from being delicious. Mint Café has an attached second-hand shop with books, curios, paintings and framed posters, etc - there's usually a good bargain to be had and these items give the place a nice retro feel. I highly recommend Mint, both for the beautiful food and the warmth of the place - it is warm, friendly, cosy and can quickly grow to be your new favourite haunt.

Happened upon the mint café walking home... And so glad I did. Grabbed a bbq Jack fruit wrap. Fresh authentic and honest vegan food that tastes great. The owner was cool to chat to. Will definitely be back spied a vegan breakfast and some tastey looking smothies on the menu.

Visited here last night. What a relaxing environment. Vegetarian buffet was delicious! Loved looking at the books and retro items for sale. We finished the evening off with yummy Baklava and Coffee. Will definitely be back to try the snug!

One of my favourite independent cafes in Leeds in the Headingley area. Full of character, a great variety of foods that cater to all diets (I'm a vegan, but it has something for everyone), and a unique collection of curios and antiques (National Geographic magazines covering the moon landing, original Polaroid cameras, etc.), this cafe has it all. The prices make it affordable for both students and others, and there's an all-you-can-eat buffet on one day of the week as well.
